Robert Nash Parker, Ph.D. Professor of Sociology, University of California Riverside Co-director, Presley Center for Crime and Justice Studies Dr. Parker is the author of 40 scientific articles and chapters on topics including the causes of violence, the relationship between alcohol, other drugs, and violence, alcohol and drug policy and violence prevention, and research design and statistical methods in the social sciences. He has served as Director of the Presley Center and Professor of Sociology at UCR since July 1, 1996.
